I bought an iPad and initially it didn’t have much of a purpose. Then I downloaded Procreate and my world exploded. Unlimited “material” brushes, unlimited colors, etc. Anything that was limiting or intimidating when it came to previous mediums was taken away. When tired of blending or colors, I revert back to scratchboard techniques such as stippling and crosshatching working with only lines and dots. It was and is extremely liberating.
